Sophia's Story

My connection with Paw Project NC started when a friend shared a story with me about two little dogs that were thrown over the fence at the dump. One of them was Sophia. She was scared, hungry, and confused. She was covered in fleas and had a serious skin infection from flea bites and neglect. My heart broke in a million pieces and I had to meet her. She had a great foster mom who helped me gradually transition her to our family. She is one of the smartest sweetest dogs I have ever had, and I can't thank Paula from the Paw Project enough.
